Dixie Whitetop Aster; Twisted Whitetop Aster (Sericocarpus tortifolius)

This one took a little while to identify. Thanks to the help I find on facebook through individuals and groups. This is another one growing in my neighborhood and is said to be found in the southern half of Alabama and common to the coastal plain. I'm somewhat above that range though. It's also native to North America and a few Southern States. I couldn't find any information stating it to be edible or medicinal but that doesn't mean it's not. I'll just leave it as more information needed. Our Creator has an abundance of information about all of His creation. If we ask Him He will answer. Take time to know the Creator and discover His creation !

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5
